For the past season or two, geometric patterns have been dominating fashion. They make for an extremely interesting visual and add dimension and excitement to the most conforming of silhouettes and keep the eye focused. It’s good to know those isosceles triangles and trapezoids in high school actually led to something I could use as a grown up! Also great for someone like me, who’s always trying to deflect from areas that I really don’t want to call attention to!

My apologies for the week of radio silence. Things were pretty hectic for a while, but I missed posting more than I thought I would so even though today is officially a national holiday and the weather outside is sweltering, I have snuck inside for a much needed cooling-off and some down-time (make that blog-time) for myself.  In honor of the gorgeous weather, and with the summer holidays looming, I just ordered an adorable blue and white Toile-de-Jouy sundress from Topshop.
